Meet Our Life Skills Staff
Miss Lisa Green
Let me tell you a little about myself. I was born on November 19, 1967…yes, that makes me 40 something. I grew up in Peoria, IL. I graduated from Greenville College in 1989 and started teaching right away. I taught in Pana for my first 5 years then came to Hillsboro High School. I taught here for another 6 years then taught in Williamsville for 2 years. I missed Hillsboro and came back and have been here ever since.
I live in Coffeen, IL. I have two crazy cats, Levi and Miles. I love to camp, fish, play softball, listen to music, watch movies, read, and watch the Cardinals. I am also the assistant coach for the Lady Topper Softball team.
I have always had an admiration for people with special needs. My oldest brother Richard became my hero at a very young age. He is the reason I decided to teach special ed. I am blessed to have him in my life and equally blessed to be able to teach my students. I have a great admiration for them, too. I would not teach anything else….
